2.Get Your Binding Quote — Based on what you’re moving and where, we provide a binding flat rate. This covers everything: wrapping, disassembly, loading, transport, unloading, reassembly, and placement. No weight estimates, no ranges, no fine print. Your valuation coverage options are explained at this stage too.
3.Moving Day — Our crew arrives on time with a fully equipped truck. Furniture is wrapped and padded, beds and tables are disassembled, floors and doorways are protected, and everything is loaded and secured. Whether your move is going to the next state or cross country, the process is the same.
4.Delivery & Setup — At your destination, we unload, unwrap, reassemble furniture, and place everything room by room. You pay the flat rate you were quoted — nothing more. Need storage between pickup and delivery? That can be added at a separate quoted cost, confirmed before booking.

This is different from an “estimate” or “non-binding quote,” which can increase after the truck is loaded.
Local moves are typically priced by the hour rather than flat rate, because the scope of work is shorter and more variable. However, hourly pricing with Poseidon is still transparent — the rate covers the crew, truck, wrapping materials, and all equipment. There are no mileage fees, fuel surcharges, or surprise add-ons. For local moves where you want a locked-in price, ask about a flat rate option during your consultation — we can sometimes accommodate it depending on the job.
Your flat rate is binding — it only changes if you change the scope of the move after booking. For example, if you add items that weren’t in the original inventory, request additional services like packing or storage, or change the destination, we’ll update the quote and confirm the new price with you before moving day. If the move stays as quoted, the price stays as quoted.
