Our packing services use heavy-duty boxes, acid-free packing paper, bubble wrap, dish dividers, wardrobe boxes, and custom crating — not grocery store boxes and newspaper. Every item is wrapped individually, cushioned, and positioned inside the box to prevent shifting during transit.

Combined with furniture disassembly on move day, our packing process is designed with loading in mind — staging boxes by weight and room so the crew can load efficiently, especially in buildings with tight access or strict time windows. Go room by room and separate anything you’re not taking. Donate, sell, or dispose of items before packing day. The less we pack, the lower the cost and the faster the job goes. This is especially important in smaller Boston apartments where staging space is limited.

Yes. Partial packing is one of our most common requests. You handle the rooms or items you're comfortable with, and our crew takes care of the rest — typically kitchens, closets, and fragile items. Just let us know during the estimate which areas you want us to cover so we can plan crew size and materials accordingly.
For smaller homes and apartments, packing and moving often happen the same day. For larger homes or full-service packing jobs, we typically pack one day and move the next. Your coordinator will recommend the best approach based on the size of your home, the packing scope, and your building's scheduling requirements.
No. Our crew arrives with all necessary materials — boxes in every size, packing paper, bubble wrap, tape, dish dividers, and wardrobe boxes. If you prefer to self-pack some items, we can deliver supplies to your home ahead of time through our packing materials store. Any specialty materials like custom crates are built on-site the day of the pack.
